Best Friends

This is a picture of my best friends-The Fat Quarters! We are a small informal quilt group that meets every other week at Alta's home.

The ladies are, left to right: Alta Dekema, Nancy Ahmadi, Janelle Jones, and Jean DeSavage (me!) This picture was taken at our 2006 Christmas party.

When trying to decide on a name for our little group we were going through different quilting related items and terms and since we were "4" the Fat Quarters seemed a natural "fit". We also made a decision that we would have NO rules, that we would just get together to have fun. There are even some nights we don't even do any sewing.

My life is so much better because of these wonderful, creative ladies!
